Interview Question :: Returning to I.T. after a 10 year break |
I had to take a 10 year career break due to unforeseen circumstances.
I'm interested in getting into enterprise computing (e.g. CRM, Project Management, Web technologies etc).
I am not technical but managed some large enterprise I.T. projects before my career break.
Do you have any strategies of getting me up to speed with modern techonologies so employers will take me seriously ?
Is there a 'hot' new technology that I should be studying or getting certifications in ?
Are there any short courses or certifications i can take that will give me practical skills quickly that employers will value?
